Actually, it’s a secret button. Before revealing the location of this button, I performed a thorough research. I checked the manual of GSWH-1 and the GSWH2 models of the Girard Tankless Water Heater.

But the heck is- none of the user manuals mention the location of the reset button- even a single word about the reset button. Fortunately, I found this video from PaleoHikerMD that will help me locate this button.

Push that button. It will help you reset your Girard Tankless Water Heater.

The other name of this reset button is the high-temperature limit switch. When the water temperature at the outlet is above 140, it opens the circuit or trips the switch and shuts off the unit immediately.

When you push that button, it closes the circuit, allowing the power back. As a result, your Girard Tankless Water Heater comes back on and starts heating the water.
